The finest section of the Molsheim vineyards is the Bruderthal, one of the grand crus of Alsace. This vineyard used ta be partially owned by the Carthusian monastery of Molsheim. Today Bernard Weber owns and produces wine from eight acres of this vineyard.
Another vineyard formerly owned by the monastery, the Finkenberg, produced most of its wines for the Royal Court of England. A portion of this vineyard has been in the Weber family since the Seventeenth Century. | |
